Gator Basketball Schedule Released

The University of Florida men's basketball schedule has been released featuring a stretch in the month of December where the team does not leave the Sunshine State.

After two exhibitions, Florida opens its regular season on November 14th hosting the O'Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic. After hosting a second round game, two additional games will be played on November 24th and 25th to conclude the event. Teams will be announced in September.

The Gators will play this year in Orlando, Miami, and Jacksonville and they'll also play a nationally televised game against North Carolina State on January 3 on CBS. The Gators open SEC play at home against Ole Miss on January 10th.

The Gators, a very young team a year ago, will be a young team this year with many new faces combined with the early NBA departure of center Marreese Speights. However, the Gators will for the first time in a long time have a lot of bodies to rotate in and out of a game at almost every position if players perform to expectations.
